Red wine from Livermore Valley, California. Case of 12 – 750 ml bottles. Aged in French oak for a period of 3 years before bottling. This deep ruby color wine has aromas and flavors of panettone, singed plum pie, balsamic reduction, and Chinese 5-spice with a satiny, puckering, dryish medium body and a peppery, interesting, medium-length finish manifesting impressions of spiced rhubarb compote and vanilla custard with moderate oak flavor. A dense and piquant merlot to pair with very rich foods.
